Romano British Knife Handle. A fine bronze knife handle, the body engraved with a feather pattern. The terminal is decorated with the head of a lioness, with open mouth and erect ears. 1st century AD. Southern England. 53 mm long. Very attractive. The overall piece has a good green patina, while the engraving is tinned, this helps to bring out the decoration
