Anglo Saxon Decorative Plate. A gilded bronze quarter with entwined chip carved decoration. 5th-7th Century AD. North Yorkshire. 46 mm high. Originally from a large circular pin head that was then utilised as a pendant. Classic Kings of Northumbrian style. One corner as become detached (please see image), but this fits perfectly back in to place.
