Ostrogothic Silver Buckle and Plate. A solid silver buckle and plate set with three rectangular panels of garnets or red glass. 7th-8th Century. European. Length 40 mm, width 30 mm. Very attractive, complete and in working order. Large fragment of the original leather belt still attached to the back plate.
