Medieval Stoneware Jug. A dark brown glazed
stoneware drinking jug with thumb base, single handle and ribbed sides.
1450-1600 AD. Manufactured in the vicinity of Siegburg, Rhineland and
distributed throughout northern Europe and England. 230 mm high. Much
of this piece is covered with light surface dirt, but this could be easily
removed to reveal a near perfect glazed surface underneath. Very good
condition.

blackening to the base where it as been used on a fire. 1450-1600 AD.
Manufactured in the vicinity of Siegburg, Rhineland and distributed
throughout northern Europe and England. 95 mm high. A couple of chips
to the rim otherwise in very good condition.
