GALLO BELGIC C. Au Quarter Stater. Almost plain, traces of 'crescents and appendages' design. Kidney-shaped male head left. Circa 70 BC - 60 BC. Sills, Gaulish and Early British Gold Coinage, 444 - 446. John Sills states "may have been struck by an eastern neighbour of the Ambiani, perhaps the Viromandui. British finds suggest a close relationship with Gallo-Belgic Ca."
