Only three others with this reverse die in the CCI. From the same dies as DRIFF 01. A very rare and interesting type linked to the trefoil type by the style of the reverse die.

Kite type

KITE TYPE. Au Stater. Obliterated die. Kite shaped object with four pellets above horse left, wheel in front and spiral below. 5.34g. Spink # 392. This coin CCI 94.1035. Generally this type were struck from worn dies and on odd shaped flan's. This coin is a good example of the type and on a large round central flan.

Ex Spink 68 (22-23 March 1989), lot 528 (cited as being ex Norweb collection [but not from the four Spink sales of that collection nor in SCBI 161]).
