Below you will find my pictorial reference for the coinage of EARDWULF. As of July 2009 there are only six known (Seven as of June 2011). All are in museums or private collections. EARDWULF COPIES and FAKES

Due to the rarity of Eardwulf's coins its not surprising to see modern fakes appear on the market. Below are the ones to look out for !
Check the weight and size (they usually get this right). Quality of metal, Eardwulf's coins are from the mid Kings of Northumbria series and are of a base silver type, similar to Eanred's early issues. Style of lettering, and check for die links.
