Celtic / Roman Mirror Handle. Cast copper alloy handle with curved top and flat backed point, these hold traces of tin used as a solder to hold the iron mirror in place. There are still slight traces of iron around the area were the mirror would have been mounted. 1st - 2nd century AD. Lincolnshire. 61 mm x 38 mm. An extremely rare item and rarely offered for sale.
