Anglo Saxon Strap-end. A copper alloy zoomorphic strap-end. The central section and terminal end are decorated with stylised animal-heads. The wedge-shaped attachment end is split to accommodate the strap with a single rivet. 9th-10th Century AD. Thomas Class B, Type 4 (Multi-headed); Haldenby Group 13 (Animal mask). Lincolnshire. 43 mm x 12 mm.
