Anglo Saxon Wrist clasp. An early Anglo-Saxon cast copper-alloy wrist clasp. The decoration consists of two nose to nose open-work horse's heads with their ears serving as stitching loops. The back of the clasp shows traces of tin where the hook or eye would have been fixed. Late 5th - 6th century AD. UKDFD # 50474. Lincolnshire. 30mm x 16mm.
