Roman Penannular brooch. A copper-alloy penannular brooch of round cross-section. The terminals are spherical with two collars behind. The pin is arched downwards to facilitate the folds of cloth. Circa 1st century AD. Fowler Type A3. Lincolnshire. 30 mm diameter. Attractive dark brown patina and complete with working pin.
