Medieval Bullion Weight. A rectangular uniface copper‑alloy weight, the obverse showing a four‑armed cross, each arm surmounted with a fleur‑de‑lis. Weights of this type might have been used to check various multiples of the penny (2d, 3d, 4d, 6d etc.) rather than individual coins. 5.8 g. Circa late 13th to early 15th Century. 18 mm × 14 mm.
