Medieval Horse Pendant. A good sized copper alloy quatrefoil shaped horse pendant, consisting of a central lion inside a square, each lobe of the quatrefoil is set with a fleur-de-lis on a red enamelled background, traces of which still survive. 14th century. North Lincolnshire. 48 mm x 32 mm. An unusual piece as the central lion is facing to the right, all others I have traced are left facing.
