Medieval Silver Decorative Mount. A solid silver decorative mount in the shape of a crowned E B monogram. Complete with the two fixing pins to the rear. Circa 15th century. East Yorkshire. 23.7 mm × 15 mm. The finder of this item suggested that the E B may represent Elizabeth Bosville, due to an item associated with the Bosville family being found close by. While a plausible and interesting idea, it cannot be proven at this time.
