Medieval Heraldic Mount. A cross-shaped bronze heraldic mount. The centre section is divided into quarters, each containing an eight-petalled flower set against a blue enamelled background. The four protruding arms are decorated with animal head terminals. The whole piece is gilded, much of which still remains. 13th–14th Century. North Nottinghamshire. 45 mm × 44 mm.
