POTIN. High Tin Cast Bronze Unit. Class I type. Celticised head of Apollo right. Celticised bull charging left. 1.5 g. Spink # 63. Circa 90 BC - 75 BC. VA 129. BM 686-695. Thorpe Audlin, West Yorkshire. 17mm dia. This coin is recorded with the CCI, # 10.1078, and also with the PAS # SWYOR-679A22, Where it states "This is the first potin from West Yorkshire to be recorded on the PAS database. This is a find of note and has been designated: Regional importance" ......... An interesting and historical piece.
