CRISPUS. 317–326 AD. Æ 3 (19 mm). IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES. Laureate and cuirassed bust left, holding spear in right hand over shoulder; shield on left arm decorated with Medusa’s head. Reverse BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS: globe on altar inscribed VO / TIS / XX in three lines, three stars above. Mintmark PTR• (Trier). RIC VII 347. Very rare shield decoration.
