This section includes copper-alloy and silver examples from the 12th to 16th centuries, featuring stirrup rings, seal rings, inscribed brooches and decorative ring brooches typical of medieval dress and personal accessories. A silver ring brooch of flat rectangular cross‑section, engraved with + IExSxVxSx IIAxA (Jesus of Nazareth) in Gothic letters. The letter ‘x’ represents saltires used as decorative spacers. 13th–14th century. 18 mm diameter.
