Constantine I

The Siscia mint (modern Sisak, Croatia) was one of the most productive Balkan workshops of the Constantinian period. Its issues are known for their distinctive style, frequent use of the IOVI CONSERVATORI and GLORIA EXERCITVS types, and clear mintmarks. Siscia played a major role in supplying coinage to the Danubian frontier and remains a key component of any Constantine I mint collection.
