Constantine I

The Ticinum mint (modern Pavia) was an important northern Italian workshop active throughout the Tetrarchic and Constantinian periods. Its issues are known for their distinctive style, clear mintmarks, and frequent use of the SOLI INVICTO COMITI type. Under Constantine I, Ticinum produced a wide range of folles and reduced bronzes that form a key component of any Constantinian mint collection.
